What to expect

Day 1

Welcome to South Africa!

Your adventure begins in Johannesburg.

We’ll meet you at OR Tambo International Airport. Once bags are loaded and the music is on, we head east into the rolling hills of Mpumalanga.

Our first stop will be for lunch along the way before continuing to Sabie, where you’ll settle into your accommodation and enjoy your first evening.

Meals: Lunch (Milly’s on route) and Dinner

Day 2

Elephant Encounter & Waterfalls

Start your morning with breakfast at the lodge before visiting Elephant Whispers for an unforgettable elephant encounter experience.

Guests will enjoy an educational interaction with these gentle giants, learning about their behaviour, intelligence and conservation. The visit includes a special lunch experience

In the afternoon we explore the region’s natural beauty with visits to:

  • Sudwala Caves: one of the oldest cave systems in the world

  • Mac Mac Falls: one of Mpumalanga’s most iconic waterfalls

Day 3

Panorama Route to Hoedspruit

Today we travel along the famous Panorama Route. Our morning begins with visits to:

  • God’s Window: offering incredible views over the Lowveld

  • Bourke’s Luck Potholes: where centuries of water erosion created fascinating rock formations

We will enjoy lunch at Bourke’s Luck Potholes before continuing to:

  • The Three Rondavels: magnificent rock formations overlooking the Blyde River Canyon.

After our final viewpoint we continue to Hoedspruit.

Relaxed Morning & Afternoon Game Drive

Enjoy a leisurely morning with breakfast at the lodge. Take this time to unwind, soak in the peaceful atmosphere, and settle into the slower rhythm of life in the wild.

As the day unfolds, keep an eye out for passing wildlife around the lodge.

In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive, venturing into the wilderness and the bush begins to come alive. As temperatures cool, animals become more active.

Full Day Safari

Today we head out early for a full day game drive in search of the famous Big Five and other wildlife. Please ensure to take your package lunch if so requested the day before.

A packed day in the bush offers incredible opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, antelope, and many other species.

After returning to the lodge, enjoy a relaxed evening around the fire, sharing stories from the day’s sightings.

Meals: Breakfast, Packed Lunch (if requested) and Dinner

Day 6

Optional Sunrise Safari & Night Drive

Guests have the option to start the day with an optional extra early morning game drive, one of the best times to see predators returning from their night hunts.

For those not participating, enjoy a relaxing morning at the lodge.

In the evening we head back into the bush for a night game drive, offering a completely different wildlife experience as nocturnal animals become active.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Guests have the option this morning to join an optional guided bush walk with an experienced ranger. This activity offers a unique perspective of the African bush, focusing on tracks, plants, insects and the smaller details often missed from a vehicle.
